FAQs

Safety?

How do I know my child is safe and learning while I am at work?

In addition to having safety doors in every classroom, we have a locked access. No one can enter the building without logging in or being escorted. All of our teachers are trained in Infant, Child, and Adult CPR and First Aid. We welcome communication before care and after care and send daily reports home each day. Our priority is providing a safe and nurturing environment for all children.

What if I want to talk to my child’s teacher during the day?

You can call anytime. You can speak with either the director, who can look in on your child or directly with the teacher who can tell you about your child’s day. Daily reports and monthly newsletters help keep parents informed and notices are posted outside the classroom.

Developmental?

How are the classrooms developmentally appropriate?

Each classroom is designed to meet the needs of each age group. Furniture and curriculum are specific to each class.

What is the benefit of attending a Christian preschool?

At Knee-High, we believe that our time in the classroom is not a job but a blessing and we strive to meet the needs of our children and their families. We offer a unique setting that provides the best in care and compassion. Our curriculum is Bible-based and each day begins with prayer. We also attend weekly chapel meetings.

Who?

Who is watching my child?

The teachers at Knee-High are credentialed and qualified teachers with experience and advanced learning. All of our teachers have been credentialed by the state and are leveled Early Childhood Educators. You are welcome to interact with any of our staff.

When is the childcare open?

On this website, you will find our yearly calendar. In the case of inclement weather, we post on our local news stations and alert the parents through a phone tree. We are open 7am to 6pm Monday to Friday, excluding holidays.
